November Luncheon with guest speaker Brian Parr

Our November luncheon guest speaker was Brian Parr, Special Agent in Charge of the United States Secret Service, New York Field Office.  A career civil servant with the U.S. Secret Service, SAIC Parr is responsible for overseeing the agency’s investigative and protective activities in the five boroughs of NYC, Long Island, six counties in the southern region of NYS, and the State of Connecticut.  Prior to his appointment to the U.S. Secret Service, SAIC Parr served as a Deputy United States Marshal in the Eastern District of New York, where his assignment included fugitive investigations and witness protection.  He also served in U.S. Secret Services’ Intelligence Division; the Office of Congressional Affairs; as a member of the Joint Terrorism Task Force in New York City; as staff assistant to Senator Jon Kyl, Chairman of the Judiciary subcommittee on Terrorism; and as an Assistant to the Special Agent in Charge of the Presidential Protective Division.
