This year’s AAPLE Seminar features Deputy Chief Ruben Beltran, Executive Officer of the NYPD’s Office of Information Technology; Inspector Kenneth Mekeel, Commanding Officer of the NYPD’s Real Time Crime Center, and IBM Scientist Jeff Jonas. Chief Beltran is a 23-year member of the NYPD and an Excellence in Technology Award recipient. Inspector Mekeel is a 30-year member of the NYPD and is currently a NYS EMT, Suffolk County Firefighter and an OSHA Certified Hazardous Material Technician. Distinguished IBM Scientist Jeff Jonas is founder of the IBM Analytics group.
