We were pleased to have Shawn Henry, Director of the FBI’s Cyber Division, as our April luncheon guest speaker. On behalf of the organization, I want to thank him for his time and expertise. Director Henry’s detailed lecture covered the FBI’s investigations into serious computer intrusions that target the United States by malicious code, insider threats and remote access, as well as by foreign adversaries, terrorists, and organized crime groups. He also explained how the Cyber Division counteracts and responds to these serious computer crimes through prioritization, proactive investigations and predicting the movements of known and unknown threats. In addition, Director Henry also stressed strong partnerships between the FBI and the military, as well as all law enforcement agencies and the private sector, are essential in the battle against computer crimes.
