The Annual AAPLE Seminar was held on Monday, November 23, at the Law Office of Cadwalader, Wickersham and Taft, located at One World Financial Center. AAPLE was privileged to have as its guest speakers, Deputy Chief Ruben Beltran, the Executive Officer of the NYPD’s Office of Information Technology; Inspector Kenneth Mekeel, the Commanding Officer of the NYPD’s Real Time Crime Center; and Jeff Jonas, Distinguished Engineer at IBM, and founder of the IBM Analytics Group. Together, this panel of information technology experts led an in depth discussion on the inner workings of the NYPD’s Real Time Crime Center (RTCC).
